James Zink is a hardworking and determined individual whose background includes a wide range of work experience with a deep passion for rodeo and the outdoors. Raised in Durango, Colorado, James Zink began working at a young age on his grandfather’s Waterfall Ranch, where he gained early experience in equipment operation and livestock handling.
Mr. Zink's work history includes roles in the food service industry and construction. He began as a dishwasher at Digs Bar and Grill, and later moved into carpentry, taking on excavation, framing, and trim projects. He has worked with Z Carpenters, 9318 Contracting, and Asher Custom Homes. In 2020, he also served as a lead operator and supervisor at Phoenix Recycling, LLC, where he oversaw warehouse operations and logistics.
Mr. Zink is active in amateur rodeo, where he competes in team roping events. He participates at Tejas Rodeo and plans to compete in the World Series of Team Roping in Las Vegas. He aims to join the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association.
